Feilding, New Zealand
The Central Districts Field Day, now in its 25th year, will be held over three days at Manfeild Park, Feilding in March. As New Zealand’s largest regional agricultural event attracting more than 600 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors, it is a regular on the calendar for much of the central north island community – with many more coming from further afield as well.
Farmers return year after year to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in rural innovation, agribusiness and agritech. Recognising that many visit as an opportunity to keep abreast of the industry, this year’s Innovation Zone will continue to provide a platform for emerging businesses to showcase the latest and greatest in New Zealand’s primary industries innovation and development concepts. The Innovation Zone grew out of our desire to inspire visitors with all the new products, technologies, and methods we know are a large part of the New Zealand agriculture industry.
The Cuisine of Central Districts Marquee will be featuring the best in central districts food and drink, with several premium food vendors and a new seating area, bar and live music for visitors to relax and unwind.
Crowd-favourite events including the CLAAS Tractor Pull, the National Excavator Championships and the Central Districts fencing competition, which will once again be front and center. There’s something for everyone to enjoy here, whether it’s visiting and yarning to exhibitors, checking out the latest in agritech or sitting back with a drink and watching the impressive National Excavator Champs.
